What SimBLOX Does...

Traditional modeling and simulation tools require users to create their simulation components from the ground-up, equation by equation.Typically, this is done using a proprietary modeling language that locks the user into a limited toolset. SimBLOX takes a fundamentally different approach.

While individual models (which we call "SimBRIX") still need to be written, SimBLOX uses Microsoft’s .NET platform, so models can be written in whatever language the developer prefers. Once these basic building blocks are created, business users can enhance and extend the modeling environment without any programming expertise.

Other tools on the market work well with small models, but quickly become unmanageable as the complexity of the problem increases. SimBLOX was designed to support large-scale simulation environments comprised of hundreds or thousands of agents working in unison.

SimBLOX allows users to go from code-based simulations or complicated control structures to a simple, drag-and-drop construction environment. This allows models to be placed directly in the hands of business users and analysts where they can leverage the power of simulation in a way that makes sense.

 About SimBLOX

SimBLOX products are engineered from the start to be highly configurable and easily extended by developers. This includes the ability to specify a range of different simulation controls – from a single simulation run to complex optimizations. All the while, the end user is presented with interface controls that mirror the productivity tools they use on a daily basis. Results can be incorporated into presentation, word processing or spreadsheet tools. For larger organizations, data can be shared across the enterprise, integrating with their existing BI analysis tools.
